In aviation industry is on a high side at present. Today’s world, air travel is an essential business tool. Efficiency, safety, better service, and more extensive air networks brought about by the increased competition which enable and encourage more business executives, both foreign and local, to travel around the country/world. The aviation organization is in an optimistic mood. The launch of many new domestic and international airlines has increased the need for well trained and qualified staff. To meet these growing demands, GAA has launched its new course in airport ground handling. The curriculum for this course includes CRM (Customer Relationship Management), which includes airline customer service and uses of Computerized Reservation System (CRS) Sabre, Amadeus, Galileo applications.

Course Outline

  • CRM – (Customer Relationship Management): This module covers how to deal with different types of customers, effective communication skills, how to present a resume, interview techniques, Sales techniques & Marketing Principles.
  • Airport Ground Handling: This module covers Customer meet & greet services, help for documentation, baggage handling, Airport facilities, check-in & boarding process and Aviation security.
  • Computerized Reservation System (CRS) Sabre, Amadeus, Galieo: This module covers how to check time-table and availability of flights, creating a PNR, special requests, Seat requests, display of fares, hotel reservations & car rental bookings.
  • International Airline & Travel Management component covers Geography, codes used in travel industry, Travel formalities, Baggage rules, Reservation procedures, Fare construction & Ticketing, Salesmanship, Business communication, and Airline Regulation.



Airport ground handling course is available in classroom lecture & practical based training.


HSC, a good understanding of English language, world geography & basic mathematics. Anyone wishing to start a career as an Airport Ground Handling Manager.
