The Travel industry is one of the biggest employers of manpower offering wide range of opportunities from little to highly paid jobs. To be successful in this service-oriented trade, it is vital to have the necessary skills and up-to-date knowledge.

Travel is a business and demand certain technical skills and product knowledge. We have devised a detailed curriculum for this course, which includes International Airline & Travel Management, Computerized Reservation System (CRS) known as SABRE, AMADEUS & GALILEO. This will give the student a double advantage of gaining knowledge useful either in a travel agency or as airport ground staff. The CRS system is used generally in all airlines/travel agencies and will give the student an added qualification during placements. To be able to give the best service, students must have confidence and product knowledge. To inculcate confidence and interpersonal skills in the students, we have developed a CRM (Customer Relationship Management) component, which is given completely free. This component trains students on how to deal with different types of customers and improve their communication and interpersonal skills.

Air Ticketing & Reservation is one of our specific skill set courses that we offer. The course includes understanding the world & travel geography, Making and planning of itinerary or specific travel plan and basic GDS application, Travel terminologies, IATA Global Indicators, Fares and SSR & OSI services.

  • International Airline & Travel Management component covers Geography, codes used in travel industry, Travel formalities, Baggage rules, Reservation procedures, Fare construction & Ticketing, Customer Relation, Business communication, and Airline Regulation.
  • CRM (Customer Relationship Management) component covers how to deal with different types of customers, effective communication skills, how to present a resume, interview techniques, sales techniques & marketing principles.
  • Global Distribution System (GDS): SABRE, GALILEO and AMADEUS component covers how to check time-table and availability of flights, creating a PNR, Special Requests, and Seats Requests, display of fares, hotel reservations & car rental bookings.
